Apparently, the female serial killer in The Mutilated Cutter plants semen from innocent men at crime scenes so they will get arrested and the police never suspect that the crimes are actually being committed by a woman. The screenplay was called The Mutilated Cutter, and it was loosely inspired by the Hillside Strangler murders, although it featured a female serial killer. Veronica fancied herself a bit of a playwright, and she sent Kenneth a copy of a screenplay she’d written. She didn’t just want to be a victim of the strangler she wanted to be his accomplice. She started fanaticizing about being taken by the Strangler, about him having his way with her. Veronica found serial killers to be sexually exciting, and Kenneth Bianchi was her favorite by far.Įver since she first read about the Hillside Strangler in the newspaper, she’d had an erotic fascination with the case. While in jail, he started receiving letters from a woman named Veronica Compton. Kenneth Bianchi was arrested in the state of Washington, around Jan. The most common torture method employed was prolonged strangulation, where a victim would partially strangled, but then allowed to recover, only to be partially strangled again, over and over the result would be an exceptionally drawn out and painful death.
